Haslemere Community Rugby Club

Welcome to the Haslemere Rugby Under 13s, school year 8, from complete beginners to seasoned experts, all are welcome. Our friendly coaches will help you learn that sport is fun, you can achieve more working as a team and will develop your personal skills and potential as a player.

Our first session will be Sunday, 5th September 2021.

We are happy for you to come along and just try out without commitment for the first couple of sessions. We meet every Sunday morning at the Club grounds between 10.00am – 12.00pm. There is no requirement to go and spend a fortune on the kit, all you need is a gum shield and some boots and you can give it a go, although don’t forget to dress appropriately for the weather, hats, gloves, waterproofs and layers if it is cold and wet, and bring a drink and snack - see you Sunday!

We play competitive matches and friendly away fixtures as well as home training.

Player safety and well being is paramount with all our coaches being DBS cleared and a first aider present at every session.

This Club is run by volunteers and we ask all parents to help in any way they can from coaching, admin, first aid, parking duties or occasionally in the clubhouse kitchen, just tell us which you can help with.

When you bring your child along we ask that you remain to watch them or by all means offer to help with some of the drills if you are able. Insurance is provided through the Club as long as Club membership is completed.

We are a friendly Club, providing encouragement and fun sessions, so just come along and experience the thrill of competitive running rugby. You will be made very welcome.
